I had the opportunity to speak about bodies, capitalism, and Blackness on the Girlfriend Therapy podcast.
I met the host and founder, Kwanza Gipson at the Rhetoric Society of America conference. We met at a casual first time attendee reception. We started chatting about social media, Black womanhood, and digital Blackface. (Heavy yet casual topics. Haha). I was rambling per usual and Kwanza was somehow intrigued by my words and invited me to be a guest. I was so honored and happy to be a part of a project founded by a Black woman for other Black women.
